Sales Director
Overview:
The Sales Director is responsible, with the CEO, for the development of a robust and healthy sales team. The Director of Sales develops and executes a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and to expand our customer base. S/he builds and maintains strong, long-lasting internal team relationships as well as client relationships– as the process of a project moves from beginning to close, and beyond.
Responsibilities:
· Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets.
· Manage potential clients, lead sheets, make sales calls, and manage client relationships.
· Act as a project steward (take care of client needs, get answers, assemble information, follow up).
· Develop, with senior management, ability to research and write compelling and accurate sales proposals.
· Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.
· Report on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
· Create weekly sales reports.
· Organize and schedule sales meetings.
· Manage workflow and team to meet deadlines
Qualifications:
· Proven 10+ years experience in sales management.
· Have the ability to self-manage with little input on day-to-day priorities.
· Be responsive and accountable.
· A kind, energetic, positive attitude- and be able to pay attention and focus everyday.
· A strong love of building teams and systems
· Well organized and disciplined with data management
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Work well with a group – Communicate and liaison between, and with team members.
· Be willing to travel.
Reports To: CEO
Compensation: 90k - 140k depending on experience
