At Firmitas, we understand the journey timber makes from forest floor to final installation. The capability to convert local timber has been a relatively small part of what we do but adds great significance and meaning to our work. From a historic perspective, it’s the norm. From a sustainability viewpoint, it’s a big piece of the puzzle if it fits the project. We’re currently running a Wood-Mizer LT50, that allows us to be more flexible and creative, and we offer custom milling to our local community and region. 

What does this mean for your project?

Converting logs into custom timbers and lumber, our mill is capable of handling large diameter logs up to 41”dia., and 31’ in length. Perfect for everything from structural beams and large timbers, to unique wide live-edge slabs and dimensional lumber.

• Premium Equipment: Woodmizer LT50 complete with a 12-foot bed extension for long timbers and a high-performance debarker for a clean cut.

• Custom Dimensions: Offering hard to get dimensions/species; milling to your exact specifications.
